Camedone, the village

Tucked away in the hills overlooking the Cinque Terre, 5 km as the crow flies from Vernazza, Camedone is a small, authentic stone hamlet, far from the crowds that flock to the five coastal villages in summer.

The Cinque Terre National Park

Cinque Terre — literally 'five lands' — refers to five villages clinging to the Ligurian cliffs: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. The whole area has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997.

Porto Venere, nestled amongst cliffs, islands and turquoise waters

At the head of the Gulf of Poets, Porto Venere offers one of the most spectacular views on the Ligurian coast. Its tall, colourful houses, medieval alleyways and the Church of San Pietro, standing facing the sea, create an unforgettable setting, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site alongside the Cinque Terre and the islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto.
